You are applying for international solidarity volunteering (1 to 2 years)
You are over 18 years old and you wish to offer your skills and dedicate yourself to development for at least 1 year ? Apply to be a Volunteer of International Solidarity !
1 – You send your CV and a cover letter on the website’s application page or by email. You want to go as a couple? You can make a joint cover letter.
Be aware that you do not apply for a particular assignment : if your initial project is validated, the DCC will propose an assignment adapted to your profile, according to the needs of its partners.
2 – If your application is accepted, an application file will be sent to you. It allows you to tell us more about your volunteer project and your professional and personal experiences.
3 – Simultaneously, you register for the two training weekends (intercultural training and orientation session). The second weekend ends with an individual interview that validates your application or gives an adverse opinion on a volunteer departure project with the DCC.
4 – The DCC looks for the mission that corresponds most to your profile among the missions that are to be filled at that time.
5 – A mission corresponding to your profile is proposed to you, according to the positions to be filled. After contact with the country’s DCC representative and the partner, you inform the DCC of your decision within 8 days.
6 – You participate in the preparation course for departure.
Duration : 10 days in January or July
